Winter is the time for citrus fruits. Just look at this stunning blood orange that we got at the Alemany Farmers’ Market the other day. It tastes better than it looks, if you can even believe it! Yum!

    I would make a sorbet with this; it would be pretty served in a crystal bowl with some whipped cream!

    that’s a great idea, maybe a blood orange granita as well?
    I shall try either soon as these oranges are still available in the markets
    these Moro blood orange are sensational in color and flavor.
