We tried this glamorous cocktail recipe using prosecco, Campari and a bit of sparkling water and lime. Spritx is something that Hegui had been hearing about lately though we’re assured that the drink has been popular for some time and has become a national “phenomenon.” It’s easy to make. The drink has a pleasing summertime red color and a bit of sparkle from the bubbles. We went through an entire bottle of Campari at our recent Macedonian celebration. Not everyone enjoyed the bitterness of the Campari. It is an adult drink, after all. Overall it was a huge success!

Spritx Cocktail

Mix one part Campari to two parts prosecco in a glass full of ice. Top off with sparkling water, a squeeze of lime and serve. Yum!
