I haven’t read Anne Rice though everyone raves about her and compares the Twilight series to her series from the Eighties. I had a friend in college that wanted to be a vampire. She would bleach her hair very white and wear black all of the time. She talked about living in a closet instead of a coffin because there wasn’t a graveyard sufficiently near the school to make getting to class practical.

We went to see Eclipse last night. Like all the critics have said, it’s fairly faithful to the novel and very bubble-gum romantic squishy: I loved it!
